Eluvia’s wish came true
For years, Eluvia’s daughter Dayana kept asking when she’d have cleft surgery. But living in rural Guatemala, Eluvia didn’t have an answer for her. Dayana hated being seen in public.
Thankfully things changed when Eluvia heard about Operation Smile.
Dayana finally had cleft surgery when she was 11 years old. She came out of the operation with a beautiful new smile and the future Eluvia had always wanted for her.
“I cried with happiness when I saw her,” Eluvia said.
